THE SIRENS

Self-Initiated Brief

Inspired by ‘The Odyssey’, this illustration is my interpretation of Odysseus' encounter with the sirens. in Greek mythology, sirens are depicted as beautiful and dangerous, luring sailors onto the rocks with mesmerizing voices. They have the faces of women and the bodies of birds. For my siren design, I was inspired by vultures, powerful symbols of death.
